We are proud to announce that, for the second year running, we will be hosting a stand at the Country Living Spring Fair to showcase a range of new properties for sale. Attended by 17,000 people over a four day event (April 26-29) at the prestigious Alexandra Palace, Humberts will once again be the only estate agent to exhibit at the fair.
At a time when the average house price in London is £483,568 compared with an average UK house price of £226,367**, Londoners are looking to cash in on their home and seek value for money in the countryside. Recent research, using ONS data, highlights that the London exodus is higher than ever before – more than 291,000 people left the Capital in 2016*, a 10,000 person increase on the previous year.
Ian Westerling, Managing Director of Humberts, commented: “We had such a successful few days at the Country Living Spring Fair in 2017 that we’re delighted to be a part of it once again. With an impressive footfall and buzz we’re able to give advice to those looking at all levels of the market. Now that flexible working is becoming more of a trend we’re finding that London buyers are able to look further afield in search of better value for money – where previously these buyers would only look at London suburbs they’re now spreading their net to the ‘outer shires’. With a host of options from cosy cottages, to apartments by the sea or larger country Manor Houses and Old Rectories we will be showcasing a range of our best new launches.”
