New Office Launch

Introducing Humberts Mayfair

Mayfair - Humberts

We’re expecting at least a 25% increase in demand from overseas buyers

David Adams

We're delighted to announce that Humberts have opened an office in Mayfair under the direction of David Adams. With his most recent post as Managing Director of John Taylor, David previously worked at Chesterton Humberts between 2008 and 2011 as a Residential Director. David oversaw the entire Residential division which included the Country House department.

Ian Westerling Managing Director of Humberts commented; “We’re absolutely thrilled that David has decided to come back to Humberts at a time of great expansion and evolution. Our focus for the past three years has been solely outside of the Capital – however, with the pound low against foreign currencies and whilst we’re at a strategic point in the property cycle we recognize the real opportunity to build our business in the heart of London. Our aim is to offer a bespoke and tailored service to High Net Worth clients, as well provide an invaluable resource to our country network and overseas links.”

David will be leading a team of 4 and will be based at 48 Berkeley Square, W1J 5AX – he will be bringing Anne Davies, an experienced Prime Central London agent of experience who also previously worked at Chesterton Humberts.

David Adams Director of Humberts in Central London commented; “Humberts has really found its place in the market and I’m delighted to be bringing my 25 plus years of experience to launch the brand in London. I will be bringing both clients and my extensive database to the business whilst making new hires. As Humberts has recently started a new Lettings division, we will over time be launching a Lettings service too.”

Jeremy Campbell-Harris Head of London & Country House department at Humberts will move offices to be based in the new Berkeley Square location so that the two teams can work in tandem.

David Adams continues; “Already we’re experiencing a notable increase in demand from Europe. With the Brexit shake up and the uncertainty surrounding the French Presidential elections in particular owning property in Central London makes good sense. We’re expecting at least a 25% increase in demand from overseas buyers as the year progresses and the dust settles.”
