Humberts Salisbury, Chippenham and Marlborough are delighted to announce their sponsorship of the National Gardens Scheme (NGS) in Wiltshire. Every year, the NGS opens 3,800 beautiful and inspiring gardens – some privately owned and rarely open to the public - to visitors across England and Wales. Money is raised from small entrance fees. Since its creation in 1927, the NGS has donated more than £45 million to a range of worthy charities in the UK.
In order to support the NGS Wiltshire this year, Humberts will sponsor the event’s programme brochure which is distributed in libraries as well as at prestigious events such as the Chelsea Flower Show and Hampton Court Flower Show.
Ian Westerling, Managing Director at Humberts, commented on the sponsorship: “Appreciating the delights that a garden has to offer is one of the joys of working in the property industry. It is for this reason that we are particularly delighted to support the NGS Wiltshire as hundreds of beautiful local gardens are opened for the public to enjoy. Most importantly, the NGS has a terrific track record of raising money for some wonderful causes and we look forward to supporting these efforts in whatever way we can this year.”
If you're interested in visiting one of Wiltshire's many beautiful gardens, make sure you pick up one of the bright yellow brochures (sporting a Humberts 'H'), or alternatively head over to the NGS garden finder online.
