What are the benefits of buying and selling at auction?

For sellers, property auctions offer a fast, effective and transparent way to conclude a sale within a short timeframe, usually around 28 days. Contracts are exchanged on the fall of a hammer. You have the opportunity to set a reserve price and a completion date.

Auctions give buyers the chance to choose from a wide variety of properties, with the opportunity to view each property around four weeks beforehand.

Each lot is accompanied by a legal pack, prepared by the seller’s solicitor, which includes title deeds and local searches – although prospective sellers should always have the legal pack checked by an independent solicitor.
