Limefitt Park has fantastic 5 star on-site facilities, including a small supermarket, the Haybarn Inn, a games room, adventure playground and there is a launderette available. Off-site, there is nearby leisure activities including pony trekking, golf, fishing, cycle hire and a wide range of water sports. It is a truly wonderful location to enjoy either a relaxing break or an adventure packed holiday. It has also received the David Bellamy Gold Conservation Award.

The lodge itself is homely and welcoming, from the moment you step into the hallway and through into the open plan living area, you are surrounded by relaxing surroundings and beautiful views from the large windows and patio doors. This spacious and bright living area, with modern décor and electric fire, provides plenty of space for families to relax after a long day walking or exploring the area. The lounge then leads off into the dining area, which comfortably seats six, and is enclosed by large windows and lovely surrounding views.

The kitchen area is accessible either from the living area or dining area, and holds all the modern conveniences you could need; including washer/dryer, dishwasher, electric hob & oven and large fridge freezer.

From the entrance hallway, there are three bedrooms leading off to the right. The master bedroom has fitted wardrobes and comfortably holds a double bed and also has an en-suite with shower, WC and wash hand basin. The two other bedrooms have plenty of space, and both hold two single beds. There is a spacious family bathroom with a bath, WC and wash hand basin.

The outside of the property has a large south facing decking area, with stunning views and table and seating for six people with a BBQ. There is also private parking for two cars.

Situated to the South of the Lake District, less than half a mile from the charming town of Troutbeck and only a short 10 minutes drive to one of the most picturesque lakes in the Lake District National Park - Lake Windermere boasts some of the best amenities and attractions within the South Lakes. It offers a wide range of activities for all ages with shops, restaurants, leisure facilities, golf and yacht clubs, plus Windermere Marina and some of the finest walks in Britain.

Being the largest natural lake in England, Lake Windermere hosts many public attractions and holds a large tourist population. Bowness-on-Windermere is The Lake District s most popular holiday resort and is an excellent centre for boating activities and steamers.

Within Bowness-on-Windermere there are wonderful boutique shops, cafes, bars and restaurants as well as the usual multiples lining the main street as it winds down to the bay.

There are some beautiful walks within this area, with links to Ambleside, Grasmere and Langdale - famous for their Wainwright fells.

For the commuter, the railway station at Windermere links with the mainline station at Oxenholme giving speedy access to Edinburgh, Manchester and London Euston. There is easy access to the M6 motorway, within a 40 minutes drive to J36.

The Lake District National Park has recently been awarded UNESCO World Heritage Status for its scenic and cultural attractions.
