The immediate area is designated as being one of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the cottage, is less than 1 mile from the beautiful World Heritage Coast at Seatown. The thriving market town of Bridport offers more comprehensive facilities and is within only 3 miles, whilst the coastal resort of Lyme Regis and Axminster (with main line rail service to London) are only approximately 9 miles distant.
