The site at Tanyard, located on the northern edge of Broadway has recently obtained planning permission for the construction of up to 16 residential units.
Planning permission was granted following a planning appeal reference App/R3325/W/15/3063768. The appeal is allowed and outline planning permission is granted for residential development comprising up to 16 dwellings, associated parking, landscaping and construction of access from Tanyard at land at Tanyard, Broadway. The permission is granted in accordance with terms of the application reference 14/03636/OUT, dated 8 August 2014.

The Section 106 Agreement, dated 29 September 2015, makes provision for the construction of an affordable housing scheme to provide 35% of the Dwellings on the land as Affordable Housing of which at least two thirds shall be social rented housing and one third other intermediate social housing. In addition, various off-site recreation contributions are also required.
