Situation
Rondor is situated in the delightful small country town of Colyton, which is located some 3 miles from Lyme Bay, a World Heritage Site. The property is located within walking distance of all the facilities this charming town has to offer. Colyton was, in the 16th and 17th centuries, a very prosperous wool town that sits on the bank of the River Coly amongst some of East Devon's most delightful countryside.
Colyton is set in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It has a beautiful Medieval Church and a comprehensive range of shopping and recreational amenities.

The renowned Colyton Grammar School, one of England's top mixed state schools, is situated about a mile away on the outskirts of the village of Colyford. A tramway runs between Seaton and Colyton along some very pretty countryside and with views to the Axe estuary.

The busy market town of Axminster is approximately 5 miles to the north east and has a variety of shops including a large
supermarket and also has a main line rail link to London (Waterloo). There is also the market town of Honiton, some 9 miles distant, which has many antique and independent shops. Honiton also offers main line access to London(Waterloo).
There are a number of golf courses in the area and sailing at Lyme Regis. The Cathedral City of Exeter is about 25 miles to the west with excellent shopping facilities, main line rail link to London (Paddington), M5 access and small international airport.


Directions
On entering Colyton from Colyford, pass the Peace Memorial playing fields on the right and continue towards the town centre. On passing the entrance to Govers Meadow on the right and the fire station, the property can be found a short distance up the road on the right hand side opposite the turning on the left to Grove Hill.
On entering Colyton from any other direction, head for the town centre and bear left past the library into South Street. Continue down South Street and the property can be found on the left opposite the doctors surgery and entrance to Grove Hill.
