The famous resort of Lyme Regis is also within only about 15 minutes' driving distance. Axminster is just beyond, with a main line rail service to London.
Bridport join the A35 west to Chideock. Continue through the village and turn right by the Church signed to North Chideock. Gingerbread Cottage is the second cottage on the left. The parking area is situated a short distance beyond on the left and is named.
