Fox Tail Cottage is a delightful period cottage situated within the popular Cotswold village of Fulbrook, close to Burford. It is also within the Cotswold AONB and the property enjoys views of open countryside to the rear. The property benefits from planning permission to erect a two storey rear extension to the house, to provide a spacious kitchen/breakfast room and a master bedroom suite, both with floor to ceiling windows to maximise the views.
The two bedroom cottage accommodation is arranged over two floors. The ground floor has underfloor heating throughout and three reception rooms, two of which enjoy the lovely rural views. Off the entrance hall to the left is a snug room with an open fireplace and a study corner by the bow window and on through to a larger sitting room. To the right of the hallway is a cloakroom and the dining room, which continues through to the kitchen with a range of fitted wall and base cabinets with wooden counter tops and an integrated oven, hob and dishwasher. From the kitchen, a back door gives access to the garden and the stone outbuilding where there is space and plumbing for a washing machine and dryer. From the hallway the staircase leads to the first floor accommodation and the two double bedrooms, one served by an en suite wet room with a rainfall shower and the other a bathroom.
The property is currently let as a successful holiday rental and details of the rental income can be provided on request.
