A traditional brick and tile barn with extensions and range of stables, extending to circa 1,450 sq.ft. set in about 0.43 acres. Further 19 acres of meadowland adjoining the barns are available by separate negotiation.
Applicants should satisfy themselves as to the likelihood of obtaining residential consent.
Under Statutory Instrument No:564 Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) (Amendment & Consequential Provisions) (England) Order 2014 there is a presumption for the conversion of agricultural barns to residential, subject to satisfying conditions imposed by the Local Authority:

(a) a change of use of a building and any land within its curtilage from use as an agricultural building to a use falling within Class C3 (dwellinghouses) of the Schedule to the Use Classes Order; and
(b) building operations reasonably necessary to convert the building referred to in paragraph (a) to a use falling within Class C3 (dwellinghouses) of that Schedule.
