Hill View is an attractive cottage constructed in the 1840's of brick and flint elevations under a tiled slate roof.
The current owners have refurbished the property throughout to a high standard keeping many period features such as wooden window frames, open brick and cast iron fireplaces.
The downstairs has a separate dining and sitting room which are both located off the entrance hallway. There is a cloakroom/ wash room also on the ground floor. The kitchen has been replaced with a quality country kitchen and attractive oak work tops, there is an Everhot electric cooker which works very much the same way as an Aga. Original floor tiles through out the dining room and the kitchen add to the charm. Both the main and guest bedrooms are double rooms and bedroom three a good sized single room. Completing the accommodation is the family bathroom on the first floor which has been replaced with a modern white suite dressed with stylish grey tiles.
GROUND AND GARDEN
Immediately to the rear of the cottage is the spacious stone terrace which makes a perfect area for alfresco dining. Steps lead up to the lawn section of garden which has a delightful apple tree in the centre and a variety of trees and plants around the borders.
A brick pathway leads around to the front porch and beyond to the quiet Shute Lane.
