Northbend is a light and spacious 4 bedroom chalet style house, with well arranged and much improved accommodation, standing in a particularly good size garden of nearly 0.4 of an acre and within the popular and sought after village of Littlebourne.
The current owners have lived in the property since December 2013 and have made a number of major improvements. These include removing the dividing wall between the kitchen, dining room and conservatory. This now makes for a wonderful kitchen/dining/family room, with a broad opening to an excellent conservatory. The principal area has a new coloured tile floor, a central island with granite worktop and built-in microwave and fridge drawers, together with matching granite worktops to the base units, integrated Miele two single side by side ovens, Miele induction hob and Miele washing machine and dishwasher. In addition, the conservatory now features underfloor heating. Both of the bathrooms have been altered, with the ground floor having the dividing wall removed between the separate WC and bathroom , to create a family bathroom with modern white fittings.
On the first floor, a wall has been moved, which has enabled the former cloakroom to be transformed in to a super shower room, complete with oversize tray. Further improvements have included a wood burner to the sitting room and a door from the former dining room in to the former garage. This has been sub-divided and now forms an excellent utility room with space and plumbing for a washing machine and door to outside and with the former garage now providing a generous store.
The accommodation overall is light and spacious, being well arranged to provide four bedrooms, two bathrooms and with store cupboards/wardrobes in all four bedrooms.
GROUNDS AND GARDENS
The property is approached off the road by a tarmac driveway with parking and turning area to the front. Here, the garden is laid to lawn and enclosed by a mellow brick wall.
