Formerly two Victorian cottages, Orchard House has been modernised and extended into a single family house with a southern aspect. Built of traditional brick construction with pitched roofs, there are carved fascia boarding and finials.
The house was refurbished in about 2005 with under floor heating, oak flooring, a modern kitchen fitted with polished granite work surfaces and adjoining utility rooms and larder. A single storey bedroom suite with an oak façade was added to the east elevation, whilst a family room, office and garden/play room was added to the west elevation.
The bedrooms have en-suite bathroom facilities and two of the childrens rooms have retractable ladders to carpeted attic play rooms with Velux windows.
