Willowacres which we understand was built in about 1970, with later additions, now offers the opportunity to purchase a wonderful contemporary home in a unique location. It is approached down a long gravelled drive with fields either side. The present owners have transformed the house and it is now a light and spacious home. Of particular note is the outstanding open plan kitchen/living room which extends to some 45 feet and has a large feature window directly on to the adjoining woodland from which one can observe all manner of wildlife. The kitchen area is fitted with a bespoke kitchen by J & J Omerod and incorporates a superb range of wall and base units with a large central island and granite worktops. There are 2 integral double ovens and an induction hob. The living area has a wall of bi fold doors which open directly on to the garden terrace and there is also a wood burning stove. The flooring in both these areas is a specialist resin floor which adds to the feeling of space and light. There is also a dining room, a study and a further reception room on the ground floor which could be used as a downstairs bedroom if required with a shower room located just across the hall. The garden room runs along the outside of kitchen/living room and there is a conservatory leading from the dining room. On the first floor are 2 principal bedrooms, both of which have a dressing room and en suite bathroom or shower room. The fine master bedroom has a vaulted ceiling and doors leading on to a decked balcony with glass and steel surround which overlooks the rear gardens. There are 3 further bedrooms and a family bathroom.
Gardens and Grounds
The formal gardens are attractively stocked with flower borders and a raised terrace with beech hedging surround. There is a separate double garage and parking to the side and front of the house.
