Yew Tree House is set within a generous plot which wraps itself around the property and has been beautifully landscaped to provide various areas of interest and privacy. The attractive red brick property has been lovingly renovated by the current owners to provide a spacious family home finished to a very high standard, and offers further potential for the new owners. The generous and flexible accommodation lends itself to provide a self-contained Annexe for a dependant relative, or to generate an income (e.g. Holiday lets or B&B).
Upon entering the property, you are immediately struck by the light open reception hall with impressive oak staircase and stone tiled floor with underfloor heating. Glazed doors lead you through to a wonderful kitchen/dining/family room which is obviously the heart of the home and provides a real "wow factor" to the property. In the centre of the room there is a generous island adding additional work and storage space to the well-appointed kitchen, which has a good selection of units and work surfaces along with a sizable pantry. The kitchen area opens into the open plan breakfast/family room. This area of the property has been beautifully designed to take advantage of the wonderful open views of the rear garden and the surrounding countryside, with generous windows and French doors which open onto the patio. This room is enchanting and provides an ideal place to relax and unwind over dinner, socialise with friends and family, and appreciate the wildlife visiting the garden. Leading off the kitchen is a rear lobby with doors leading to a cloakroom and the rear garden. Also in this "wing" is a utility room, games room, and stairs to the first floor. This part of the property could easily be used as an independent ancillary accommodation which could have its own garden and entrance, and two or three bedrooms.
On the left of the reception hall there are doors to an attractive living room, this has a feature brick fireplace creating a focal point in the room which adds to a warm cosy feel. Adjacent to the living room is a perfectly placed study which overlooks the side garden and driveway. At the other side of the reception hall is a further reception room which could be used as a formal dining room, and a cloakroom.
The impressive oak staircase glides you to the first floor where there are five/six bedrooms, three en-suite shower rooms and a family bathroom. They are all good size rooms which feel light and airy and enjoy views over the surrounding countryside.
