Long Barn Holiday Cottages is run as a premier holiday cottage complex within South Devon and currently the present owners do not live on site. The business had a gross turnover (inc VAT) of £163,800 in the 2017/18 season.
Three of the cottages have residential use (Hameldown Cotttage, Long Barn & Huccaby Cottage) and can be occupied as owners accommodation.
Hameldown cottage which is currently let out has 4 bedrooms, 2 en-suites, a family bathroom and a gross turnover (inc VAT) of £32,500 and could be occupied as owners accommodation. Alternatively, there is the possibility of occupying Long Barn, but this has the highest turnover of the properties at approximately £73,570 in the 2017/18 season.
The business has high levels of repeat trade which is approximately a third due to the quality of the accommodation and they do not use an agent to promote their business but have their own website. They are VAT registered.
