Humberts performs ahead of expectations

Humberts is delighted to announce a profitable first four months of trading under its new ownership, exceeding management’s expectations and demonstrating their place in the market as trailblazers of a new estate agency culture. Not even the closure of all its high street stores has made a dent on the balance sheet.

Last month, Humberts came off the high street to move towards a new Humberts Hub set-up, the first of which in Poundbury, will be unveiled later this year. The prototype Poundbury hub is a 4500 sq ft brand new bespoke office which will showcase Humberts’ move to becoming full service agents headed up by a team of Property Consultants and Lifestyle Concierges. The hubs model is forecasted to boost Humberts profits even further and have allowed the company to move into new territories including South Hams, Devon, North Cotswolds, Cheshire, Frome & Bruton, making a number of key appointments in each of these areas.

The company has additionally been able significantly to increase their marketing spend which has also had a positive impact on new business.

Humberts’ mission is to be relevant in today’s market, paving the way with a “high tech, high touch” company philosophy. This move away from its competitors outdated trading methods is proving to be the winning formula in offering both loyal and new customers a service that they trust and are proud of.
