Each solid log home is unique, we work with you to design and build a luxury lodge to your specification, enabling you to plan from the outset exactly what matters to you. Built to exceed BS3632, which is residential specification, the standard of workmanship throughout each lodge is extremely high and many traditional craftsman's skills are used in the building process.
With many options of additions that can be added to the popular base floorplan designs that are available on any plot. Currently there are four types of plot available for purchase:

The Luxurious Lodges can be custom designed by you whether you prefer a traditional Finnish Lodge interior or opt for a contemporary stylish design.
All lodges come with central heating, double glazed windows, a bespoke kitchen, bathroom, veranda and parking as standard to provide comfortable and enjoyable space all year round.
A range of upgrades are available, such as underfloor heating, triple glazing, varying roof heights, log burning stoves, bi-folding doors and outdoor hot tubs.
A budget set for a bespoke kitchen is included in your starting price, once this is agreed then you can arrange an appointment with the local company, READESIGN KITCHENS to design your personalised kitchen. You can exceed this budget should you wish to go for more expensive fittings however you will be liable to pay any excess cost.
Established in 1999, with four generations of logging experience and over 300 buildings in the UK, Finlog are the only UK log building company to have their own factory in Finland. Over the past 20 years, this family run company have honed their product to what it is today and were the first company that designed and constructed the first 'twin ridge' mobile home, the first Log Lodge to gain full BS3632 approval in law.
Every log cabin is manufactured at the Finlog factory in Northern Finland and constructed on site by Finlog's own build team. If you would like to design your own log cabin, feel free to pop in to the office discuss your ideas with the team.
Payment Plan and Time Scale
From the date of order the Lodges roughly take 8 weeks for manufacture and delivery then a further 8 weeks to build.
A 40% deposit is required upon agreement of purchase, the next instalment of 40% is required upon the time of delivery and the final 20% is required to be paid upon completions. This means the full amount is required to be paid in roughly 16 weeks on the allotted instalment dates.
12 Month Holiday Licence
The Lodges are available for sale with a 12 months holiday licence, this means that you are able to live in the lodges all year round however you must have another address to use as your registered address for correspondence & to be on the electoral role.
Woodland, Lake View and Waters Edge Lodges are for private use only.
The Maples may be bought for use as holiday lets.
The properties are sold on a leasehold basis with a renewable 99 year lease starting from the date of purchase. There is an annual ground rent of £2,750 which includes the overall maintenance of the 100 acre country park, road maintenance, external lighting, refuse, foul drainage removal and insurance of the common areas.
Upon the re-sale of the lodge home, the site owners will be given first right of refusal to buy based on an independent valuation. Upon the sale 10% of the achieved value will be payable to the site owner.
Here at Frisby Lakes Lodge Park we like to do things a little differently. We are an ecologically sympathetic park and timber is the only 100% renewable material; therefore, our solid Finnish Log lodges have timber sourced from managed forests which is crucial to sustainability. In addition, we offer renewable heating methods alongside modern conveniences such as piped gas to keep your expenses to a minimum.
Throughout the park this environmental stance is reflected by the works being done to increase wildlife activity, such as a wadding area and Kingfisher point being introduced to entice birds to the area, along side the introduction of bat & owl boxes. And, in partnership with the Woodland Trust a planting scheme is currently underway.
It is this work that lead to the park being awarded the Gold David Bellamy Conservation Award 2015/16.
The Park has a live-on Park Manager who stays on the park 12 months a year. The managers is there to assist the residence and take care of park maintenance.
Plans for Future Development
Once the Woodlands, Waters Edge, Lake View & The Maples Lodges have been built work will then begin constructing the remaining lodges. Following this there is plans for a Lakeside Club House, complete with restaurant and bar built on the banks of the Great Lake in traditional style with stunning views and social areas.
Throughout the park construction of many secluded picnic, seating and observation area along with BBQ spots solely for the use of lodge owners has already begun.
The Park and Location
Frisby Lakes Lodge Park is situated between the villages of Frisby on the Wreake and Asfordby, just outside of Melton Mowbray. Within the Park there are beautiful lakeside walks, nature trails, lake swims and picnic spots.
There are a range of enjoyable circular walks though some of the county's prettiest villages, most which start and finish at a great village pub.
In addition to the two lakes on the park offering carp and "silver-fish angling" there is Rutland Water renowned for trout, pike and zander, salmon fishing at Greetham Lake and the nearby Eyebrook reservoir has a well-equipped fishing lodge with friendly experienced staff.
The winding country lanes found throughout Leicestershire wrap themselves around quiet, unspoilt villages and there is invariably a cosy pub or quaint tea shop in which to stop off en-route for refreshments.
Melton Mowbray, Beedles Lake, Park Hill to name but a few local courses plus Stapleford Park championship golf course is not only challenging but is also amongst the finest luxury golf courses in the Midlands and has hosted the PGA Seniors Tour and the ISPS Handa Senior Masters.
The county is home to the Quorn Hunt, one of the oldest hunts in Britain. The stunning landscapes and good off road access means riding is very popular. Riverside Ring Centre, Brooksby and Somerby Equestrian Centre are all close by and offer tuition as well as fantastic hacking through some of the most beautiful countryside.
Frisby Lakes Luxury Lodge Park is located off Hoby Road between the villages of Frisby on the Wreake and Asfordby. From Melton Mowbray the site is best approached heading in a Westerly direction on the A6006 continuing straight over the first roundabout and taking the second exit at the second roundabout, continuing along the A6006. Then, take the first exit left onto Loughborough Road, sign posted 'Frisby' and immediately turn right onto Hoby Road. Continue along the road and the site is located on the left just past the Asfordby Football Club.
