Earls Colne
Earls Colne is a beautiful village nestling in the Colne Valley, in the north of Essex, approximately 11 miles to the west of Colchester, 9 miles north of Kelvedon and 6 miles to Marks Tey, all with mainline railway stations to London Liverpool Street. Earls Colne is named after the River Colne which flows through the valley. It is a historic village with a church dating from the 13th Century and many houses built in the 17th and 18th Century.
