There is also a sought-after secondary school nearby (Huish Episcopi Academy). Langport is equidistant between Yeovil and Taunton, both of which have mainline rail connections. There is easy access onto the A303 and the attractive surrounding countryside has numerous walks and rides, including the river Parrett trail.
