The Old Vicarage is set back within a plot of circa 1.5 acres. The original house is believed to have been constructed in 1844 out of stone elevations under a slate roof. The property was extended in circa 1990 and again in 2010 when an adjacent bungalow, built in 1984, was incorporated into the main structure and an orangery added. The property is a mix of stone and render elevations under a slate and tile roof. Most windows are UPVC. The property, until recently, was a nursing home and has 30 bedrooms on three floors as well as communal reception areas.
It is considered that the property is suitable for development, either as a single home with ancillary accommodation or into multiple units subject to planning permission. The property is not listed.
