The addition of a high level of specification makes coming home to FIVE a real pleasure!
The location is ideal. Within walking distance of Truros renowned cathedral city, or a short drive from the woodland walks and wildlife trails of Idless, this really is a superb location to access city and countryside alike.
Designed for modern living, our homes at FIVE enjoy open plan living, the perfect space for socialising or family-time. At its heart is an elegant contemporary wood-burner, beautifully accessorised with slate hearth, bringing warmth
and style to your home. FIVE kitchens offer bespoke design with luxury finishes, created and brought to life by Hinged of Truro.
Entrance halls are bright and airy with a breath taking, full-height feature window leading you upstairs to the landing space. Additional features include bi-folding aluminium doors connecting the family room to outside living space. In addition to the main kitchen area, theres a separate utility room providing that valuable, and tucked away, household work space.
CORNWALL'S CAPITAL CITY
The spires of Truros majestic cathedral stand proud above the cobbled streets. There is an excellent museum that has become a go-to destination for Cornish heritage and culture and the Hall For Cornwall, which is undergoing
a massive redevelopment, will reopen its doors in 2020 with a magnificent new theatre, raising the bar for performing arts in Cornwall.
Youll find a mature, 18-hole golf course here as well, just outside the city centre. Founded in 1937, it offers a parkland course in stunning surroundings.
There is a large leisure centre nearby, with a 25m swimming pool, gym and full suite of fitness classes for those looking for an active lifestyle. Boutique shops, artisan cafés and award-winning restaurants abound in the city centre, offering residents the perfect balance between amenities and indulgences.
Truros mainline train station offers easy access for travelling out of the county direct to London, Plymouth or Exeter, while Cornwall Airport Newquay is just a little over a half hour drive away with both domestic and European
flights. You can also fly to the Isles of Scilly from Cornwall Airport Newquay, Lands End Airport and Penzance Heliport.
The city is home to some of Cornwalls finest independent schools. Higher and further education is available at Truro & Penwith College which offers a wide range of subjects in modern facilities at its Truro campus.
BEACHES, COASTAL PATHS AND RIVERSIDE WALKS
DISCOVER THE SCENIC WALKS AND IDYLLIC STRETCHES OF COASTLINE ON TRUROS DOORSTEP
The National Trusts Trelissick Gardens are just minutes away from Truro, presenting walkers with a stunning selection of wooded and riverside paths to explore. There are also boat trips that set sail from Truro to the south coast, such as Enterprise Boats who sail between Truro and the bustling port of Falmouth, calling at Trelissick Gardens along the way.
Just a 20-minute drive from Truro youll find St Agnes, an idyllic Cornish village nestled on the north coast. Cliff paths on either side connect St Agnes to Blue Hills and Trevellas Cove to the east, and Chapel Porth and Porthtowan to the west.
The St Agnes Heritage Coast is full of mining history and just before you reach Chapel Porth beach from St Agnes youll find Wheal Coates mine, which has been the setting of many a scene in Poldark. Continue further west from Porthtowan and youll find Portreath. Once a busy port, Portreath is now known for its large sandy beach and is a popular spot for families.
With so much on Truros doorstep youre spoilt for choice, with beautiful coves, clifftop walks and scenic gardens that, all in all, make Truro the perfect base from which to explore everything that Cornwall has to offer.
