Wincanton is a small town situated close to the Somerset/Dorset border which originally straddled the A303 trunk road. The A303 now passes along a by-pass to the south of the town. There is a racecourse to the North of the town with a programme of National Hunt racing during the winter months. The centre of the racecourse is used as a golf course. There are main line railway stations at Castle Cary, Bruton, Templecombe and Gillingham, and Bristol International Airport is within easy driving distance.
From the roundabout just off the A303(by the Morrisons supermarket) proceed towards the centre of the town. At a small roundabout bear left into the towns one way system. Continue along the road and passing the turning marked Castle Cary on your left. Proceed up the hill past the church until reaching the town square. With the post office on the left, turn left and sharp left again into Mill Street. The property will be found on the left hand side.
