5 Mill Street is a stone built, period terrace cottage. It is situated in one of Wincanton’s most sought after streets, within close walking distance of the town’s amenities. It has been a successful rental property for a number of years and in that time has been updated by the current owners. Recent improvements include replacement windows and an upgrade to Rointe remote control electric heating.

The property is entered through a small entrance hall which leads to the open plan kitchen/living area. Stairs lead to the first floor double bedroom and family bathroom. There is an additional good sized double bedroom on the second floor which has far reaching views towards the west of the town.

There is a parking space at the front of the property.

Wincanton is a small town situated close to the Somerset/Dorset border which originally straddled the A303 trunk road. The A303 now passes along a by-pass to the south of the town. Wincanton has a good range of facilities catering for most daily needs including supermarkets, shops, and business facilities, pubs, cafes and schools. There is a racecourse to the North of the town with a programme of National Hunt racing during the winter months. The centre of the racecourse is used as a golf course. There are main line railway stations at Castle Cary, Bruton, Templecombe and Gillingham, and Bristol International Airport is within easy driving distance.

From the roundabout just off the A303(by the Morrisons supermarket) proceed towards the centre of the town. At a small roundabout bear left into the town’s one way system. Continue along the road and passing the turning marked Castle Cary on your left. Proceed up the hill past the church until reaching the town square. With the post office on the left, turn left and sharp left again into Mill Street. The property will be found on the left hand side.
