Police House is, as the name suggests, the former police house for the village of Singleton in the Sought Downs National Park. Now a private residence, the accommodation would benefit from some updating but offers flexibility of use with a ground floor room that could easily be utilised as a bedroom, home office, dining room or play room.
To the ground floor, the open-plan sitting room and dining space runs the depth of the house and provides access to a conservatory which overlooks the rear garden. The further reception room or ground floor bedroom is located at the front of the house, with access directly from the entrance porch, rather than the inner hallway. The kitchen, which has room for a breakfast table, and a cloakroom make up the ground floor accommodation.
To the first floor, there are three well-proportioned bedrooms, two of which have a delightful west facing view over the rear garden and out to the countryside beyond. There is also a family bathroom.
To the front of the property there is a driveway providing private off-road parking. This leads along the side of the house to a detached single garage.
The rear garden is mostly laid to lawn with a central stepping-stone path and edged with some mature shrubs. The far end of the rear garden is open to the neighbouring gardens, allowing for a view out to the open countryside beyond.
